鈩癸笍 Earlier this year, in partnership with the Elsevier Foundation, we launched the Women Breakthrough Award 2023. This initiative aims to highlight excellence in female-led research, recognising those whose visionary work aligns with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while also advocating for gender justice and equality in the field of science.
The four laureates were elected out of 82 submissions from 39 countries by a distinguished jury composed by Ylann Schemm and Domiziana Francescon, The Elsevier Foundation, Rana Dajani, Hashemite University, Imke Rajamani, Hamburg Sustainability Conference, and Injonge Karangwa, previously University of Global Health Equity.
馃殔 The journey for our winners continues as they'll be invited to an in-person Award Ceremony in Berlin on 7 November 2023 as part of the International Fall Gathering and the Falling Walls #ScienceSummit23 in Berlin from 7鈥9 November.
