Datum
05. Mär. – 06. Mär. 2024
09.00 – 17.00 Uhr
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region faces the dual challenge of enduring armed conflicts and significant environmental damage, which have collectively precipitated widespread displacement. The consequences of conflict on the environment, both through direct damages from hostilities and indirectly via diminished governance, are yet to be thoroughly quantified. Moreover, accountability for environmental degradation, both at local and international levels, is seldom pursued.
This conference, a collaborative effort between the Arab Reform Initiative (ARI) and the Robert Bosch µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø (RBSG), scheduled for 5-6 March 2024 in the Landmark Amman Hotel & Conference Center in Amman, Jordan, aims to delve into critical issues at the nexus of conflict and environmental concerns in the MENA region
